Job Qualifications
Strong technical knowledge of Cisco routers, switches (6500, 4500) and ASA firewalls.
o Strong Knowledge of tcp/ip, dhcp, dns, vlans, eigrp, spanning tree, hsrp, and VPN
o Network Design experience is a must.
o Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
o Ability to work with vendor/clients to facilitate the installation of extranets.
o Network analysis skills. Ability to capture and decipher network captures
o Voice over IP
o Good knowledge of wireless lan technologies.
o Good knowledge of L1 copper and fiber cabling.
o Ability to read and understand Engineering Network Design documentation
o Ability to produce detailed and high quality Engineering documents.
